Zoom (EN)

Zoom is an online meeting tool that Omnia uses only for teaching purposes at Espoo Adult Education Centre. Elsewhere we use Teams.

The Zoom meeting service is only available in certain cases for the teaching in Liberal Adult Education. In other Omnia usecases, Microsoft Teams is used for online meetings.

In the Zoom online meeting service, it is possible to:

• talk to participants and hear them.
• type in a chat.
• see each other.
• react with emojis.
• share a desktop screen, a specific window, device audio, a whiteboard.
• present a PowerPoint presentation or a video file.
• work in breakout rooms.
• vote in polls.
