Checking for Windows updates
Updates keep your device running smoothly and securely. Updates are installed automatically on your computer, but in case of issues, it’s good to check for updates manually.
1. Search for Update using Windows search. Click on Windows Updaten asetukset. In English it translates to Windows Update settings.
2. In the window that opens, click the Tarkista päivitykset button. In English, it is the Check for Windows updates button.
3. If updates are available, they will be installed.

Windows 11 Operating System Update
Computers managed by Omnia will be updated to the Windows 11 operating system to align with the zeitgeist. The update from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is a large one, so please connect your computer to a power source during the update. Also, make sure to allocate enough time for the update process.
